Worn out!
Blargh. I'm worn out. I don't like the shift I just filled in for. Seems like I keep saying that. The one shift I would like, doesn't appear to be opening up anytime soon though. (it's Becca's old one, Sun-Wed 2-12) The latter part of the week, however, was pretty good. We got another new girl Friday, I guess it was. She's very quiet and polite so far. the trouble maker was released from the hospital Friday too, and she went home or something for the weekend. RAH! I haven't heard any reports on how she's doing yet, so we'll see how that goes with 5 of them!! Lordy. And, one of the staff's wife just had a baby, so who knows how long he'll be out. Lord. Thank goodness Melissa's 8-2 is done, so she's available to be 3rd person coverage now, as well as another part time summer person. We're definitely going to need to hire some people ASAP.
Anyway, I'm exhausted. I think I might be getting a cold or something too. My nose has been a bit stuffy/congested and I have a bit of a sore throat. I've been suckin' down vitamin C, OJ and water, so I'm not sick for York. I'm working Wed-Sat this week, getting done in time on Saturday to hop in the car to head to the airport. Goodness. I'm gonna need some no-doze or something to keep me hoppin' for Hayfest.
I bought a new puter during the tax free weekend. =) Yay, I have a desktop that is super powered!! And, I have a snazzy flat screen monitor that takes up hardly any room on my desk. Rock on! I'm excited. I also got a printer with it, copy/scanner, but I've yet to sit down and figure that out. I just realized that you can plug a digital camera memory card right into the printer too, how fun!! Maybe tomorrow I will mess with it. Altho, I'll be at mom's most of the day, because I'm having a play date with Evan & McKenzie, and maybe Reagan too. Yay! It's supposed to be in the 90's, FINALLY, after this silly cold spell that ruined my pool days on my days off last week.
What else is there to report? Onex is having her teeth cleaned, and perhaps one pulled on Thursday. She has to be to the vet at freakin' 7am!! OH, speaking of vets.. Jezzie is doing much better. Mom called our chirpractor and he's been adjusting her!! She hasnt' had any of her pain meds in a few days now, and even went out for a walk one night!! So, something is working. We're not sure if it's the chiro or her being calm for a few weeks or both. Isn't that cool?
OH! OH! I heard a commercial for the American Idol concert today, and John Peter Lewis (the goofy dancing guy) is going to be at the cocnert!! YAY!! I'm excited, he was my favorite boy contestant. =)

Jezebel goes to the chiropractor? That's odd. I can't imagine the chiropractor just holding her in his hands and twisting her around... and now I'm getting images of her sitting in one of those massage chairs that you put your face through. But hey, whatever works for her is a good thing. =)
Yeah, don't be sick for York. Get some sleep. I have No-Doz, but by the time you got to me at the airport, you wouldn't want to take it, because you'd be up all night. I only took it once, and that was to finish a paper in college. Believe me, I was jittery beyond belief for the next day. Interesting sensation.

To stay awake for Hayfest, maybe you could have Diet Coke injected directly into your veins! :-) [shudder] eww, veins!
