All dogs go to heaven..

Freckles had to be put to sleep this afternoon about 1:30.

She had a bad attack last night of not being able to breathe, and come to find out her heart and lungs were enlarged and had fluid all around them. She was holding her own this morning, but all of a sudden took a turn for the worse and the vet called mom to tell her she'd best come down and say goodbye. So, I rushed home from lunch with Tucker & Alice to take her down there. Poor Freckles was hooked up to tubes and monitors, just like a little person, and was barely conscious. But, she knew we were there, I'm pretty sure. It's weird, I think all the other dogs sense something too, most likely from us crying.

Our poor little Freckles... I love you and I'll miss you very much, watch out for us up there in doggie heaven.
