I'm very sad.
I just got home from seeing off my PC. She's off to meet with the teachers at her new school and then will be heading to her new home. Hurray for her, but sad for those of us that won't get to see her everyday anymore. Work won't be the same without her crazy, bubbly personality.
She LOVED her sheet, and almost started crying when she got it and was reading everything. Aww. I'm glad I thought of it. We took lots of pictures on Wed night, when we had her goodbye party in the cottage, so I told her I'd be sure to bring some picutres back to her before she left. Well, I called last night at about 10, and found out that she was going to be leaving around 8:30 this am! ZUT! So, I had no choice but to get up this am so I could say my goodbye to her. I think she was worried that I'd forgotten, cuz when I knocked on her door this am, her face lit up when she saw it was me. =) It's so nice to be rewarded like that. We took some silly pictures of us Wednesday night, and I framed one of them for her. She busted out laughing when she saw it, and said that she really needed a good laugh to ease her nerves. It's nice to be able to make someone's day like that, and know that I matter that much to her.

Awwww, that's so sad and sweet! I'm glad she felt cared for as she was heading off to a new place. Are you going to still be able to see her & take her on outings and things?

I hope so.. she's got my number and email address, and I'm pretty sure she has to come at least once a month for treatment meetings on campus.. so it's up to her. She asked several times if we could still have one on one time.. but it's up to her to contact me first; I don't want to push it.
