ooh oooh oooh!! excitement!

In staff meeting yesterday morning, our cottage case manager announced that she is leaving in a few weeks. I immediately thought "ooh, I want her job!" So, I emailed the case manager coordinator and the human resources people to tell them I want to be considered for the job. I got emails back from both of them this morning.. From the HR end I have to submit an updated resume and transcripts, and I'm meeting with the case management coordinator tomorrow afternoon! Hot damn! So, please please please cross fingers, pray, think happy thoughts, or whatever you can do to help me get this job!! I'm hoping the fact that I'm already a part of the agency will give me a nudge, and I know the girls in the cottage. One of the guys from Bristol graduated in May with some sort of counseling Masters and he moved right into case management by June. So, dammit, it's only fair that I am able to do that. And, he was a 3rd shift RC.. Oy. I hope this works out. Even if the agency is having problems and the future of it is uncertain, if I can get this job and have it for a little bit, it will help me out in the long run!!
