Are you ready for some turkey??

Yay! My vacation is about to start! =) Hurray for paid holidays! I've done all I can do today, and consiering I'm the only one sitting here in the office, I'm about to leave. I did get a lot done today, with no distractions. I got 4 more cases added yesterday, so I spent a good chunk of time today reading over those files and getting to know my new clients on paper. I tried to schedle face to face meetings, but had no success. People must be gone for holidays or whatnot.

So, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, whereever you might be. I'm heading to Chartlotte tomorrow to go to my sister's house, where everyone will be this year. My sister from ATL is probably mid flight right about now, my sister Kathy, her friend Trena and Jade are probably on their way to CLT to pick her up as I type. My brother & his wife and kids are also heading down for the day tomorrow, so it'll be a full house!! I hope it warms up a bit so the kiddos & dogs can play outside some. I've decided against taking Indy & Mel, b/c it's going to be too crazy with Jade & Lucy (the 2 dogs there already) and 5 kids running all over the place. I think I will take Onex in her little sack though. I don't know how long we'll be down there, and Onex is just too old to leave that long, I'd come home and there would be pee everywhere!!! eeeew.

Ok, off I go. Be safe traveling everyone!

Awww, poor Onex. She is lucky to have such a caring mom. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving! As usual, no turkey for me. Steve likes turkey but not Thanksgiving sides (mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie) and I like the reverse--the sides but not the turkey (obviously!). So, we just scratch the whole thing, and we are continuing our tradition of making lasagna for special dinners. Veggie for me, sausage for him.

:-O Steve doesn't like mashed potatos??? Oh my goodness, how can one not like them? That's my favorite part of Thanksgiving! I could give or take turkey.. but a big pile of mashed taters and gravy is the best! Poor Steve. I agree with him on all the other Thanksgiving sides though,, sweet potatos, stuffing, pumpkin pie.. not so much. AH well. Enjoy your lasagna! mmmm!!
