Stuff going on in my head..

Wow!

Man, I don’t check my email for a few hours, and all of a sudden I’ve got half a dozen comments in my inbox. I had no idea my blog was so popular that anonymous people are reading it!! I am honestly flattered that you guys have the time to not only read my current posts, but to go back through the archives as well!! I feel so loved. =) In my opinion, that’s the only way to take this comment war that’s been started.

Now, allow me to comment, since it is my right. While everyone has pretty much said what I would say, I feel the need to say it again with my own spin. As many of us know, blogging has become quite the phenomenon in the last few years. It’s an easy way for people to keep in touch with people who we can’t see or talk to on a daily basis. Heck, it’s a world-wide thing now. I’ve seen story after story on the news about all the blogs that are out there, and all the sites that host them. They all reflect personal opinions, and most people understand that when reading them. If you took a second to search for a random blog, I’m sure you could easily find one more offensive, rude, crude or slanderous than mine. Believe me, I’ve seen them. And, while commenting is as much a blogging right as posting your own thoughts, sometimes some things are better kept to yourself.

The main people that read my posts are friends that have busy lives like myself, and don’t’ have the time to spend hours on the phone chatting about the things going on in our lives on a daily basis. So, we’ve all joined in the 21st century phenomenon and started blogging. People have different opinions on a variety of topics.. Politics, religion, sexuality, etc. It’s just like our freedom of speech.. you don’t have to agree with me, but you don’t have to attack me for not believing or liking the same things I like, or thinking the same way I think. No one is holding a gun to your head (that I know of) and making you read and agree with my posts. Nor is anyone forcing you to check up on me and care about what I’m doing with my life. And, only those people that talk (and by talk I mean on the phone or in person) to me on a weekly basis have any hope of interpreting any ambiguous posts that I make.

The way this all started out is what it all goes back to.. people who assume things usually make a fool out of themselves and start shit they have no business starting. I see it every day I work with the girls.. they assume if you’re talking behind a closed door, that you’re talking about them. And, as soon as you walk out of the office, attack you with questions and accusations. If you think you are so special that one post would be all about YOU or what ever IT is, then maybe you have some issues to resolve. The post you chose to respond to, as well as the timing, pretty much gives away who you are or who you associate with, and points the finger back at you. Why do you care what I’m posting, why did you follow the newly placed link to the site, and why would other people get involved that should have no concern what I am doing?! I honestly don’t care who commented, but at least have the guts to claim responsibility.

Oh, and may I say one more time: Some people will be in for a big shock when they realize the world doesn't revolve around them.

Bring it!

You know....Southwest has many $99, or cheaper, flights from BWI to the rest of the country. And if you are you YOU KNOW YOU ARE, you know I also drive fast. Don't give me an excuse to break your weak, arogant, and short little knees cause I will take it gladly!

Take a hint. Move on. Nicole could care less about the comings and goings of big domestic trucks with incorrect political statements on it.

But I must admit, I'd be in the same boat. A life without Nicole is a dull, gray life. Sorry you screwed it up.

Who ever has been posting random, unsolicitated, mean comments on this blog must be feeling really stupid right about now. You should realize by now that Nicole has a shitload of friends that love her to death and would kick your ass in a heartbeat. I wonder if you have friends like that? Probably not. Pettiness doesn't attract many quality people.
