Funny stories

Hehehe, this cracked me up. Yesterday I was sitting at the a stop light patiently waiting for it to be my turn. I happened to look in my rear view mirror and saw the people in the car behind me trying to figure out my license plate. I could tell they were looking at it, and then I watched their lips and saw them trying to sound it out. It was hysterical. I almost wanted to get out of the car and run back and tell them what it said. I've had people ask me while driving before, and of course ask me when I'm parked somewhere, but I"ve never noticed people trying to sound it out before. LOL.

Another funny story. I totally busted on my ass tonight at work. One of the girls and I were outside for our nightly walk. We decided to race across the lawn. I knew this would not be a good thing, but I did it anyway. About halfway across, I slipped on the wet grass and perhaps a dip in the ground and busted. I think I slid about 10 feet, complete with a summersault. I'm sure it looked like something you'd see in a movie. I could see my slide marks, and I was literally upside down flipping over at one point. Yay for wet grass. Luckily, nothing hurt or broke. I might feel it more in the morning, but right now, I'm fine. The kid I was with couldn't stop laughing, and neither could I. We then had to tell everyone else about it. It was great. Times like these, I love work. I love working with a few particular staff, we always act-a-fool, and people think we're on crack. It's great. Tonight, we decided we wanted brownies, so we called down to the boys cottage and asked them to make us some, and THEY DID! IT's so great being a girl and having that power. ;-)

ANother interesting tidbit from tonight. One of the girls had a tantrum basically. We can't even really remember what started it.. but she started demanding that we call her DSS worker or the police or something, b/c she was sick of our shit and how we treated her and got attitudes with her. They know the rules, no calls after hours and certainly not when they're agitated. SO, she went from staff to staff trying to get us to call. She starts in on me, saying "you're not doing anything, you're just standing there. I told you I need you to call her, and you're not moving, looking at me like you don't even hear me." So, I got fed up and said "Well, (insert name here), what do you want me to do? You know the deal, I'm not calling no one is there. What do you want me to do, jump when you say jump?" And she just didn't know what to do with that. Then, after it was all over (and she ran away), the 2 other staff were like "I can't believe you said that. Way to stand your ground. I never expected that to come out of your mouth. You get mad props for that"! Hahaha, I'm not the nice staff anymore, biotches! I've come out of my shell. :-P It's quite fun. There are several staff that I can act like "us" with.. it's great. =)

Ok, now I must settle myself and get some sleep!
