Too much FOOD

Ugh. I feel like all I've done for the past 4 days is EAT. Although, I don't think I've consumed that much more food than is normal for me. I think it's just that I've eaten a real dinner 3 of the last 4 nights. Thanksgiving and all the munchines that go with that.. Saturday night dinner with my parents and 2 sisters, which consisted of a nummy ham, cheesey potatoes, green beans and salad, and then last night we had stuffed shells and garlic bread at my parents, with my sister from ATL. Goodness. Now I have to get my stomach back to the small meal = fullness idea. I feel like I should be munching on something at all times now.

So, Thanksgiving was fun. We left for Clt at about 11am, got there quite speedily and hung out with all the brothers and sisters and neices & nephews and dogs. It was a full house. I think there were 17 people total. Terri's ex husband (the sister from Clt) came too, which was nice. And Kathy's girlfriend Trena was there too. We took the yearly traditional sibling photos and kid photos. I'll have to post some later. We left by 5pm. I swear we usually eat later, this year we ate at 2ish. I remember always driving back in the dark.. oddness. Then, Alice & I met up later and went over to Dee & Jennifer's to hang out for a bit, and play with Lola. =) Another girl from TCH was there, so that was cool to catch up with her.

Alice and I were going to go shopping Friday am, but I wussed out. I just wasn't feelin' itthis year, sleeping was more important. That, and I have no money. Seriously not fun shopping when you know ou shouldn't be spending money. We did go to Target later in the evening.. I needed batteries for my pump and something else, I forget what.. Saturday my sister Christine (the one from ATL) and I went to the mall. It really wasn't any more crowded than a normal Saturday, suprisingly enough. I think the only thing I bought was soaps and lotions at Bath & Body Works. woo! Christine got quite a few things, so it was a good trip for her. Then we went home to eat another big dinner (ham) and I think maybe Mom & I went to Target later that night so she could return something and I ended up finding something for my brother & sister-in-law, on sale too! Oh, and I saw mint Kit Kats, so I got one to try, and I do not reccommend it.. it wasnt that great.

Sunday, despite the rain & cold, we went out to one of the many Christmas tree 'shops' and found me a Christmas tree!! It's about 4.5 ft tall, and very cute. And, the best part, it's real! And it smells so nummy. =) I'm so excited. Christine & Mom wanted to go to Kohls, so we wandered around there for a bit and then stopped off at my house to set up the Christmas tree and get it in water and then back home for more face stuffing. Oh, we also went to Hancock Fabrics and I got some fleece forr 50% off to make a blanket for someone! I think it was like $12 for one printed piece and one plain piece.. what a deal! =)

I have become the best bargain shopper. I've hit the clearance racks at Target & Old Navy and gotten great deals on presents for the neices and nephews and little kids I babyit. And, everything I've gotten so far has been on sale. It's amazing how much better of a bargain shopper you become when you really have to make your money stretch! I can't wait to get regular paychecks and get back on my feet. My company is cool in that they'll give people adnvances in their paychecks since most of the time you have to wait a month before you get a full paycheck... and then will take out what you owe in installments over a bunch of future pay checks. So, I filled out paperwork for that so I can get a full 2 week paycheck this week. I need to find out if they can wait a few months before they begin taking money out.. AND, I'm FINALLY getting part of my apt deposit back. I called today and the girl says "oh, we don't have a forwarding address for you!" Ok, so why haven't you called? I kmnow they have my number. They charged me $100 for carpet cleaning and repairs. Zoe had ripped up a spot near the bedroom door, and there were a couple of non pet related stains too. They also did some treatment to the carpet for "pet smell" or something.. nothing in there smelled, so maybe they just do it to get the allergens out?!? Who knows. It seems like that could have come out of the pet fee not the pet deposit.. (I had to pay a $200 pet fee, non refundable, AND a $250 pet deposit, refundable. ) Any I'm only getting back $200. SUCKAGE. I also found out that my parent's insurance is going to pay for my lab work charges back to January, which means eventually I'll get like $350 back from the hospital! ROCK ON. I have to go argue with the woman at the chiropractor's office to get that settled so I can get some money back or a credit there.. I'm so sick of dealing with money issues!!! Freakin' Success Behavioral healthcare! ARGH!

Anywho.. that's it for now. I'll try to remember to take a pic of my cute little tree and put it up. Happy back to work Monday to all!
