Huzzah!

So, I was talking to Cat about dresses for Lauren's wedding and she said that she was able to order fabric directly from the designer for alterations to a dress.. so, I emailed Lauren and she called the Alfred Angelo place in State College and found out that we can indeed order fabric! I'm so excited. Alice & I looked & looked for fabric to match the swatch of color that Lauren chose, but it's just so odd that no place has it. I finally found my senior year prom dress pattern and I'm going to alter it a bit so it fits better and that will be my bridesmaid dress! WAHOO. The fabric is $17 a yard, which is expensive, but when you only need 2 yards of it, it's totally bearable! I'm so excited, you have no idea how happy this makes me, to be able to make a dress for around $50. The only thing I'll need to do it is thread and lining fabric. Rock on dude! :-D
Dee & Jennifer brought Lola over for a play date last night. The 3 kiddos played non-stop for almost 2 hours. Crazy. I took some pics, so as soon as I get my camera into the office I'll post some of the cute wuppie pics.
Speaking of wuppies.. Indigo's parents had another litter of puppies around Dec 31, and there is another solid black female! I guess these 2 doggies have the right genes to pop out the black weenies. She's not as cute as Indigo was when she was born though. ;-)
Dum de dum.. that's it for now. I'm such a dork, I'm going to bed at 11:45 on a Saturday night. I was ready for bed a few hours ago. I swear, sleeping in makes me more tired than getting up and going to work. It's so not logical.

Indigo has more siblings! How fun. She needs to have a family reunion so she can run and be crazy with them. =)
I'm excited to see your dress! The fabric is way expensive, but you're right, it's much cheaper than buying the dress. Have fun with it!
