Nashville, Football & other fun things

So, Appalachian crapped out, BIG TIME, against LSU. It's like they forgot how to play or something. Dropping balls, missing passes.. I'm sure it didn't help that they moved the game up to 10am thanks to Gustav's impending arrival in New Orleans. I bet a lot of people totally missed the game! Suckage. I can't believe LSU is SOOO good that they made ASU look SOOO bad, I think it was a combo of things. But, as Patrick (Melissa's fabulous friend who woke up early Saturday am to host us for the viewing of the game) put it.. at least the rest of their season won't seem nearly as hard! It would have been fabulous to have another crazy upset in the history books, but I guess you can't be lucky all the time. A 4th National Championship will be better.

Weekend in Nashville was fun fun fun! I drank more than I have in a long time (more in that it was consecutive nights), and paid less than I've ever paid for drinks. Thanks to Melissa's fabulous and generous friends, I think I bought maybe 3 of my own drinks over the weekend. Rock on. We went to some state park with a river & lakes and had fun "hiking" and playing in the water with Sienna. She appeared to like it as well.
