Woah. Talk about being a slacker. It's been OVER a month since I've posted a thing. Sorry!!

First and foremost, I LOVE MY NEW JOB! It rocks. It's crazy, hectic, chaotic & all other things I love. So far (knock on wood) no BS. Kids & parents that really need help, and I get to help them! I've come across 2 kids from YO so far, imagine that. They're still acting up. Go figure. The only down side is that I don't get my own office. Makes no sense, but space is VERY limited. And, there is only 1 desk in the office so far. One has been ordered, but hasn't appeared yet. But, I have gotten my phone & computer, so that's an improvement. It's a real job, I feel like a professional. People come to me to find out things; the doctors go on my opinion and suggestion; my take on things matters. Wow, when's that ever happened before??

Bad news: I've been sick for the last week. Lost my voice for 4 days! It's not 100% back even still. Now I've moved on to the stupid & obnoxious coughing fits. Hopefully by mid-week I'll be mostly better.

Sienna has grown to 5.3lbs (at her last vet visit about 10 days ago). Melody has lost another pound and is now 21 something. Indigo hasn't been to the vet in a while, so I don't know her weight off the top of my head.. altho I think mom's puppies both are as big or bigger than she is already. Sienna wore her monkey costume for Halloween, which she has almost grown out of, and Melody was a fluffy pink pig. Of course, Indigo refused to wear a costume like usual. I got a couple more costumes after Halloween at Target for super cheap, so we'll have even more to choose from next year.

I just finished playing seemstress.. adding a sash/bow to the bridesmaid dress for Jacki's wedding. It looks damn good, if I do say so myself. I have to do 2 more for the other 2 girls, but once I figured it out, it was a piece of cake. Apparantly I'm also doing the flowers too.. we'll see how that goes. If I pull this off, I can start a side business of wedding stuff!! I've got the flowers and adding extras to dresses, K can do cakes, Alice can take pics & we all can create scrapbooks. Sweet, there we go!

Can I just say how happy I am that in a little over 2 months Barack Obama will be our president?? I stood in line for 2 hours with Becca to vote early. It wasn't too bad, and kind of fun checking out all the people and guessing who they were going to vote for. I was sick by the time election day came around, so I actually fell asleep (thanks to Nyquil) before they called it, but woke up just in time to see Obama give his acceptance speech. =) So awesome. I missed McCain's speech, but that's ok. It's amazing how much the momentum swelled in the last little bit. I really think I would have been more surprised if McCain had won. Who knows what really led to the Obama win in the end, all that matters is that we did it. There's so much hope for what can happen.
