Another one bites the dust

Saddness. Just as we've finally become full staffed at Oxford Cottage, another staff has notified us that he's leaving next week! One of my "partners in crime", Mr. William, is leaving. I'm very upset at this. I work with him Sunday & Monday's, and we always have a blast (even tho he's probably 20-25 years older than me) griping about our "supervisor", playing Text Twist on Yahoo games, and cracking each other up. It's going to be very lonely without him around. He's just opened up his own facility in Kernersville, for substance abusing teenage boys. So, he's got enough on his plate to keep him plenty busy. And, who knows, maybe he'll have a job for me one of these days.

It's been rainy and crappy here the past few days. The last 2 nights it's been thundering & lightninging! It sounds like a summer thunderstorm, it's nuts. Mom says that means in a few days we could get a bad snow storm. :-O As long as it's not when I'm supposed to drive to TN!!

Work has been good.. we've gotten 2 new girls. One more on the way any time now. Paperwork is holding her up. One of them is 17, and the other 13. The 13 year old is a handful, in that's she's very whiny and immature, and drives the other girls nuts!! She needs constant attention. So, it should be interesting. They level 3 boys cottage is about to get it's 7th boy. They've been having issues out the wazoo. Everyday it seems like something was going on, kids outside when they weren't supposed to be, people walkie talkie-ing back and forth all night. It's certainly never dull.

Guess that's about it.. I'm exhausted. I've been staying up waaaay to late lately. ;-) I need to catch up on sleep before I head to Nashville where I know I'll be out all night with Melissa!

Ok, off to bed I go! Maybe I'll even go to sleep.
