Wilin' out! (And other various topics)
Lorrrrdaaaaaahhhh! Yesterday and today were something else with the ladies of Oxford cottage. Man, they were off the walls. Loud, rowdy, arguing with everything and everyone. Just nuts. We had to lay the smack down today, and send them all to their rooms and keep them separated all day. Separate dinner, chores, walks, crafts, etc. I tell ya. ANd they're going to put up to 8 girls in here?! hells bells. ARGH!
Ok, now that I've gotten that out of the way..
Christmas was good. As was birthday. I got an iPod for a grad/bday combo gift, and then iPod accessories for Christmas too. I also got 2 sets of WILD sheets, very colorful! A massage gift certificate, mula, and Gilmore Girls season 1 on dvd. =) Yay. Still have to have Christmas with 2 sisters and neices and nephews in Clt yet. Dont know when that'll happen. It was a good Christmas, but it just didn't seem like Christmas, just like Thanksgiving didn't seem like Thanksgiving. I don't know what it is.. it just snuck up on me. My mom didn't do her usual decorating or nearly as much baking as usual, and it just didn't have that excitement in the air. Maybe it's being out of school and not having that Christmas break.. who knows. It just felt different.
My birthday celebration was faboo! One of the best in the last few years. We went to Chili's, where Tucker & I got giant margaritas. The waitress warned me that it'd knock me out, and she wasn't kidding! All of a sudden it just hit both of us. THen, I had another crazy drink that one of my App friends ordered for me.. I can't even remember the name, something like Screaming multiple orgasm up against the wall. It was odd, and 100% liquor, no juice or mixers or anything. Needless to say, when we left Chili's, I was feelin' goooood. I was looking through a few pics on my mom's camera the other day, and I honestly didn't remember being in them! whoopsie. Then we went back to mom & dad's to do cake.. YUM. Can't have a birthday without that. Then it was just to my apt. My work people and I somehow missed each other. =( So, we played my fun drinking game that Amy & Bill got me, and had quite a few midori sours. It was close to 4, I think, before we all made it into bed, and I had to get up for staff meeting at 8am. Oooh baby.
So, I got an iPod. Katherine is excited. =) I love it. I've got nearly 1500 songs in it already. It's too fun to play with!! And, I have an iTrip now too, so I can take it in the car and listen to it on the radio! :-D Mucho funo. IT's a long process to put in all my freakin' CD's though. I have a ton and a half! Who knew. It'll be nice once they're all done though.
I don't think I've officially posted this yet. I'm getting the black puppy!! I've officially decided and told the breeder. =) I'm going to name her Indigo, since she sometimes shines blueish-black! Cute, huh? And call her Indy or something. I'm excited, I can't wait to get some more pictures of her!! I've been checking the website daily, at minimum.
Hm, what else. There is so much more I could tell.. but it's damn cold in this office (at work) and my fingers a numb. So it'll just have to wait!
