3 items of suckage!
Ok, so I wrote this post last night, and then blogger freaked out and LOST IT! So that's the first sucky thing.
Second: I can't freakin' believe that UNC won the NCAA championship! I hate it, they just got lucky. They still and always will suck donkey balls. :-P I did, of course, get harrased non stop at work, since I was so sure they weren't going to win it all. But it was all in good fun, and I'm a good sport, so I took it well.
Third: Dee is leaving TCH by June!! She is one of my main partners in crime. =( She's moving back to SC too, which means one less friend in W-S again. DAMMIT! It would be great, however, if I too was able to find a job by then, so both of us could leave and leave our supervisor in a pinch! If we both left at the same time, that just might be enough to force her over the edge! LOL. Speaking of... I've no heard anything from Guilford Tech yet.. it's only been a week since I mailed off my info.. so hopefully they're just still reviewing it. I hope I at least get some sort of phone call so I'm not left wondering. SO keep fingers crossed!
Mom & I went and saw "Guess Who" today- with Ashton Kutcher who plays a white guy (imagine that!) who goes home with his black girl friend to meet her family, and they don't know he's white. It was pretty funny! Mom says I should see "Guess who's Coming to Dinner" the old movie that it's based on. Next I want to see Beauty Shop. I've been catching up slowly on older movies.. Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Anchorman, Taxi, Bad Boys 2, Mr. 3000, and The Incredibles. Yay! Thank goodness for friends that rent a lot of movies! I get to see them for free! (Mainly Trez, oh & our new dvd library at work!)
I was supposed to be in Atlanta this weekend.. well tonight until tomorrow night, but I got an email Wednesday reminding me that I have to babysit tomorrow night! Whoopsie. I had forgotten all about it! Zut! So, while I can't see Lauren & her bling bling (she's there for a conference), I'm scheming with Emily & Erica about making a trip to Alabama somewhere 1/2 between E and Atlanta!! I have 3 more vacation days I need to use up, so perhaps I can use it for that. I'd drive to ATL and then Emily & I could go meet E for a random weekend getaway!!
Oh, other fun news. Phillip is doing an internship in Vegas this summer, and has given me an open invitation to come out and visit him!! Hot damn, a free place to stay in Vegas!! Count me in!
