Wedding festivities
Aww.. Zack & Anne's wedding was soo cool. They were so cute & happy. I have posted pics on webshots, so check 'em out.
The reception was mucho funno, catching up with all sorts of people. A whole slew of ASU/KKpsi people were there, people I haven't seen since I graduated!!! It was nuts. There weren't too many long lost MTH people. I'd seen most of them within the last year, but it was still fun. And, oddly enough, I got an IM from Jon Cauble at like 2am Sat night/Sun am saying hello I'm alive. How bizarre!! We missed all of you that weren't able to make it, hopefully we'll all make it in July for Lauren & Steve's wedding.
Another piece of randomness: I think it was Wednesday or Thursday, when we finally got our internet back up and running at the office, and I signed on to AIM to get one of those accept message messages from someone not on my buddy list. I didn't have any clue who the screen name belonged to, and I was tired of doing work so I accepted the message, and it says "Hi Colie this is Matt Michel" :-O He is the "little" boy I used to babysit in NY, the one that gave me the bear necklace that I still wear. Blast from the past. He's 15 now, and was telling me about all his skiing and swimming & other various things he does like any typical teenager. How freakish is it that he's 15?! Dang, I feel old now. I'm hoping that I'll get to get see him & his family this summer during my 10 days of traveling in NY & PA and going to weddings. Woot!
Ok, I gotta sleeeep. Cross fingers for snow & ice & crap tonight. I'm taking the day off tomorrow, but it'd be great if we'd get winter weather so the office would close & I wouldn't have to use personal time! ;-) I'll probably end up working some anyway, just beacuse if I don't, I'll be so swamped all week. If I do, I can bank up flex time and be done super early one day during the week, or go in super late. I love flexibility.
