Is what my temp. was today when I went to the doctor. The nurse said I was warm to the touch too. How odd?! To have a temp that high and not feel super bad? Last time I had one that high I could barely drag myself off the couch. I have been feeling sluggish today, but assumed that was just typical Monday blahs. It as hot, as usual, in our office, so I was of course sweating at work; and it was close to 85* and sunny outside today too, so I was hot outside.. weird. The doc didn't seem concerned with it at all. And, I haven't been able to get a reading that high on either of my thermometers, in fact I can't get it to be normal. Kinda freakin' me out a bit.
Nothing to report yet from the doc visit.. it'll take a month or so for them to get my my lab results. It's quite ridiculous. ANd, I think I saw the doc for like 10 mins. Why do I even bother. I could do the visit myself every 3 months, and just go in for lab work. "Ok, let's take a look at all your test scores. Ok, see these here, they're all on the high side, so let's raise your basal rate and/or lower your carb ratios. Ok, any questions?" ANd that's it. I miss my old doctor, I wish she'd come back from retirement (she wanted to spend time with her kids, she's probably not even 40!!) Maybe I could talk Bobbi (from the peds clinic I worked with) to do my blood work and confirm my ideas of what to change. Cuz it's a waste of an hour plus for 10 whole mins with the doc.. between getting there, finding a parking spot, checking in and waiting. Ugh. It really is a rip off. It seriously can't cost THAT much to run lab tests or complete a 10 minute office visit. Myeh.
I need some freakin' excitment in my life, it's so boring. But, every time I try to come up with something to do, there's NOTHING or no one to do it with. Winston is so friggen boring. I hope Footprints hires some cool new people soon, because when Colleen leaves in May for her 3 month internship, work is really going to SUCK. Everyone else is fun to work with, but Colleen & I are very similar and goof around and act silly together.. you can't do that with everyone.
