Idol, Tournaments and Plants
Wow, busy TV day today!!
American Idol now has the top 12, in case you care. I think the right people got voted off tonight, however there is one misplaced person in the top 12. Doofy little Kevin. He's cute, but he sings with a freakin' lisp and his voice isn’t all that. Ah well. My favorites (Mandisa, Paris, Chris, Bucky & Ace) made it.
In NCAA action 2 wild games (that I care about anyway) went on today. Syracuse, who won the NCAA in 2003 and have always been a big powerhouse and this year weren’t even ranked, beat the number one team in the country, U Conn! How crazy is that? I got home from court with my client in time to see the last few minutes of it and the overtime. Rock on. Then, Wake beat Florida State in their first round ACC tourney game. They’re on a roll, that’s 2 wins in a row! Watch out now.
In response to Lauren's post about her Peace Lilies, I feel the need to post pictures of mine too, since they're related! One is doing beautifully, the other has just changed locations and is getting healthy again. =)
The flowers are so simple, yet so pretty. Don'tcha just love the random Christmas ornament still stuck in there? ;-)
In other news, I attempted the glide step elliptical-ing again today. Not as painful, and a little easier. I also applied the no bounce rule to the stairmaster too, seemed to burn a little more that way.
Jeez, the freakin' wind it NUTS today & tonight. Things are blowing all over out there, and the dogs are freakin' out. I'm sick of wind around here, it's become a regular thing lately. It could have been a beautiful day today if it weren't for the knock you over wind gusts! At least it wasn't rain too.
