Oh the joys
Boy oh boy, I've bought lots of shit lately. Today was no exception. Had to buy a new washer & dryer. The ones I bought back in TN (used) finally went kaput. The washer has been leaking and something with the dryer to make it not work, and it was going to be just about as expensive to fix as to buy brand new ones.. so I opted for the new ones! I have to wait until Wednesday though to have them delivered & installed!! boo! I hate being patient.
Other stuff is coming along. We got the last of the mini blinds up yesterday, in the metal back door. That was causing mom lots of troubles, but she finally got it done somehow. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday I will take up the carpet in the dining room & get started on that floor. That will make me & the dogs very happy to have that done. They do not like being locked in the itty bitty kitchen all day long. (at least that's what mom says they tell her!) I'm kinda scared to take up the carpet.. because then the floor has to work cuz I'll have ruined the carpet!!! Eeek.
Anywho, that's it for now. Gonna go play with my sad looking doggies & then hit the gym.

Hang in there! A new house is always way too crazy at the begining and the people at Lowes will know your name by the end of the month! Then things will start to even out and you will actually be able to enjoy it! Have fun with your new Washer and Dryer!

Great job with the flooring! Your pattern looks really cool and reminds me of this medieval music treatise that uses a system of notation that looks like a bunch of Fs rotated in different directions, just like your floor! The paint colors look fab as well, and it's great that so many people were there to help out. =)
