Crud

I've got the crud, as I call it. Several people at work have come down with strep throat. I don't have that (at least not yet anyway) nothing is sore. What I do have is an obnoxious cough & crap in my chest, an overall feeling of "blah", and an upset stomach. Gross. Yesterday morning I felt crappy, but sucked it up and went to work, since it was Thursday which meant I had all my groups AND parent night. Today though, I just couldn't do it. Which sucks consiering I have no paid time off yet. Well, that's not true. I guess I could use my floating holiday or my comp time from parent group.. and use PTO for Christmas. I'm taking 3 extra days off between Christmas and New Years so I have a whole week off! How about that?!!

Anywho, while I was dozing in bed this morning, we had another mini earthquake!! Scared the bejesus out of me, with the same loud boom. This was about 10:45ish. I remembered to watch the noon news, and it was the first headline. It was another 2.4 quake. SCARY! I'm not liking this new trend.

In other news... I finally talked to my landlord.. and he does indeed want to sell the house!!! I have no idea what that means I have to do, but I'm going to find out so I too can become a homeowner!!! So, cross fingers for me that it all works out. :-)
