2.6 on the richter scale
What is going on?? There was an earth quake a little before 5am this morning, that registered as 2.6!! I think I felt it, but I was half asleep after making a potty stop so I didn't think anything of it. It was the talk of the town today.
fast forward to tonight at about 9:25.. I walked into my bedroom and all of a sudden heard this rumbling (almost like thunder) noise coming from above and then shaking. My first thought was that it was someone on my roof trying to get me! Then my dresser with the mirror on it started rattling & moving around and I was like, "holy hell, it's another earthquake!" So I called my mom, who had just gotten a call on her house phone from Peggy asking the same question "did you feel that?!?" Then George texted me too, so I knew I wasn't imagining things, or that no one was on my roof. Woah. Excitement!

Yeah, my grandmother called me yesterday evening about it, and it sounds crazy! My uncle said that his bed was sliding across the floor. They both mentioned that it would okay with them if they never went through that again! I'm glad everybody's okay and that it was "minor" (as earthquakes go).
