House update
This is the big week!! Here's the plans for moving weekend extravaganza!!
Thursday 1/25: Closing is at 1:30. They say it takes forever to sign your life away. So, I'm guessing maybe by 5 or 6ish Ill be ready to start painting. I'll have power so we can jam to the ipod, but no cable so we can't watch Grey's. Bummer. I want to get the bedroom, living room & 1 bathroom painted. Not sure if that's doable or not. WHenever I've painted a room, it's been with multiple people and it's gone pretty fast. Takes the most time to wait to see if you need a second coat.
Friday 1/26: I'm off of work! The fridge will be arriving and the cable people will be coming. Mom & I & any other helpers will be moving boxes & small stuff (TV's, computer, clothes, & random shit) in cars, minivans and pick up trucks. I also would like to attempt the dining room floor, we bought those peel and stick tiles today at Lowes, I've seen it done on Trading Spaces and it looks easy enough. Might want to wait on George for this one though!! We can perhaps do some more painting too if need be.
Saturday 1/27: Pick up the UHaul truck downtown at 9am and do the big furniture and any remaining stuff in the house. I got the mama jama 24 foot truck!

Yay! I'm so glad everything is in order. =) Our closing took about an hour, so I can't imagine yours taking 4, but you never know, I suppose. Have an excellent time painting and moving-- wish I were there to help (in my pregnant state of reduced helpfulness)!

Sounds exciting! I wish I was there to help paint and see the house as it takes shape. Have fun and take lots o pictures!! (oh, and are you using DOESKIN color paint?? LOL!) :-)
