Bored at work..

Trying to get back on track with my updates. I figure if Erica can do it with a baby to take care of and a dissertation to write, then I have no excuse!!!

Work continues to be mostly boring. We had 2 initial appointments this week, meeting with parents and/or kids (both teenagers) to determine their needs and if they meet our criteria (which are so vague, yay medicaid!). One definitely does, one possibly could, but her family probably won't go for it anyway. We have 3 more scheduled for next week. YAY!! Figured it'd pick up near the holidays/end of the semester. In the mean time, I continue to do CHristmas shopping on the internet, look up random stuff and catch up on the news and people's blogs, and study. I'm now more than halfway through with my study book, and feel really good about what I know. I've always been good with multiple choice, and I'm finding that I'm not missing too many of the study questions. As I keep telling myself, this is supposed to be THE book to pass the exam, so I guess I'm in a good spot. Next, I'll start getting my old notes and textbooks out to go over random stuff.

I'm FINALLY going to an ASU football game!! They made it to the playoffs (no surprise) again this year. The first round was Thanksgiving weekend, and I could have easily gotten tickets, but figured no one would be around to go with me. So, they barely won that game and then the lower seeded team of their possible opponents won their game, which ended up with another home game this Saturday. So, I stalked the goasu.com website to get tickets and bought them as soon as I could without knowing who could go with me. Becca is gonna make the trek with me to freezing cold Boone, so I'm all hyped up about that. I bought a bright yellow tobagen last night at the dollar store to wear, and I'm going in search of hand warmers today or tomorrow so once the sun goes down we don't freeze. I was looking on the website today during one of my moments of boredom and found out that also going on in Boone on Saturday is the Boone Christmas Parade.. so it should be EXTRA crowded in Boone on Saturday. The game is at noon, and we're leaving W-S by 9am, so hopefully we'll find a place to park to get there by kickoff.

hum de hum.. guess that's it for now.
