HARRY POTTER!
The new movie is fabulous. Of course it's too short and doesn't cover even half of the stuff that the book does, but it was really enjoyable. I didn't know I had been sitting in the theater for over 2 hours.
I decided at least once I should go to a midnight showing, so mom & I got our tickets over the weekend and went and stood in line at 11pm. It wasn't too nutty! We had to stand in the exit hallways so the lobby wouldn't be clogged up and apparantly there isn't A/C there, so it was hot & sticky waiting. I'm not sure if they showed it in just 2 theaters or 2 on each end.. but anywho, we got in with the rush (people ran & hollered!!) and got fabulous seats. There were mostly teeny boppers there, being OBNOXIOUS. Gosh, I felt old! Mostly cuz they annoyed me & I was thnking, "Damn, I hope I wasn't ever like this at that age!" lol. People cheered & clapped & gasped, it was funny. I definitely need to see it again, to catch little things I might have missed. I didn't get home till almost 3am tho, so the next day I was a little slow moving! But, it was fun to go in to work and say "I already saw Harry Potter!!" Now I must finish re-reading The Half Blood Prince before Saturday when my book 7 is supposed to be delivered!! I kind of want to go do Harry Potter ish stuff that Friday night, but if I do, I know I"ll end up buying another copy of the book!

I'm glad you had fun at the movie! I sort of miss the fact that I didn't see it on the release date like I have with most of the others, but I don't really want to leave my little squiggly just yet. =) Maybe it'll be at a cheap second-run place when he's old enough to leave with someone, and Jack and I can sneak out to see it. We're definitely reading the 7th book right away, though!
