IN THE MAIL!

(this was typed yesterday, but I was at work and couldn't get to blogger's site to post it..)

Holy Poo! My LPC application is FINALLY in the mail, headed all the way to Garner NC to the NC Board of Licensed Professional Counselors! Gotta send out my registration for my exam next, but that's another huge chunk of change too.

We had a snow morning today, that Daymark waited until 7:30am to post! RAR! I woke up at 7, after having a dream that it was closed and I had a whole day off and was like "Hm, let me check just to make sure" and there was nothing on the news websites, the TV or the Daymark website. So, I started grumbling, took the dogs out, cleaned off the car and then drove myself up the street and out on Polo Rd for a bit to see what it was like and if I could even get up my steep hill. It was messy. Then, I got back in the house, thawed out, and called the main work number and heard that we were delayed. How annoying, I'm sure there were people on their way in already, if we're supposed to be to work at 8am.. HELLO? Anywho. I snuggled back into bed till 11am, and then stalked the internet and called in to make sure they were still opening. So, now I'm here, twiddling my thumbs. I was supposed to go meet with a family in Walnut Cove, but I called the mom and she said it's mostly ice up there, so we decided to postpont til tomorrow. I wanted to pretend to go up there, but freakin' Amanda heard me on the phone. So, we have an appt at 3, then we're leaving. Tomorrow we're going to court (me just to see what's it about, since I've never been before) then heading to Walnut Cove at noon and then DONE!

So, we actually had snow overnight. It was white & fluffy on the ground. So pretty. It turned to sleet/rain pretty quick this am so now it's all mush. But, it was pretty for a bit.

Supposed to go to Nashville, but Melissa has pneumonia :-( She's still not feeling great as of this am, so we'll see. I don't really want to be around germs since (KNOCK ON WOOD) I haven't really been sick this winter yet. I have a scratchy throat now anyway.. so like I said, we'll see.

I randomly went to Boone last Sunday to visit with Susan. We stuffed our faces at the chinese buffet and sat and chatted for a few hours. Then we walked around downtown Boone and went to Walmart looking for ASU Chanpionship gear. She got me a cool Tshirt, that she designed! They, so far, have only made 45 of them, so I have a limited edition Tshirt!! The ones in the store were UGLY!! So, I ended up going to a new store in the mall here in W-S to get a sweatshirt, lol. But, it was fun catching up with Susan. It made me miss college. =(
