Happy New Year!!
So, it's 2005. Wow. That's some crazy shit.
Last night almost all of the gang was in W-S to celebrate Christmas, birthday and New Years. It was great. We (all 10 of us) had dinner at Chili's. We called ahead, and they said the wait was no more than 15 mins. Pretty accurate. However the wait for the food and drinks was much, much longer. I don't know what our waiter's deal was, but it took us almost 3 hours from start to finish of the whole outing. And for once, it wasn't due to our yakking. But, it was still fun. =) We guffawed and acted like fools, and of course alcohol was involved. mmm. Then, we finally made it back to my apt and began the serious drinking. We opened Christmas presents, played Cranium and that same drinking card game we played at my birthday. Too fun. All the boys stayed pretty sober so they could drive the girls home. How sweet. Me, KM, and Tucker got quite toasted, and acted like fools, I'm sure. I barely remember the Cranium game, excpet that our team won!! We payed enough attention to "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve- with Regis" to catch the count down, and I think we all sang "Auld Lang Syne", very poorly. But, maybe it was just me?! It was great. Both Alice & Zack called, so we all got to talk to the 2 missing peeps. Hip hip hurray!! I think everyone was out between 2 and 3, Becca was the only one that stayed over. We cleaned up a bit, and then I passed out and didn't move until about 9am. At which time I awoke to a splitting headache! I haven't talked to anyone else.. I'm curious to find out how Tucker felt this am. She was not looking to happy when she left. =( But, I still didn't drink enough to puke, which is an accomplishment, considering almost everyone I know has done that. The room sure was spinny though. :-P Too much fun. I wish we had had the video camera so we could have captured the stupidity that is us drunk.
All in all, it was a good evening, even without a boy to kiss at midnight. But that's OK, there are plenty of other nights for that. ;-)
