Are you freakin' kidding me?!

Explain to me, PLEASE, how gas can, with no natural disasters, new wars, etc, jump up $0.17 in less than a week.. and why no one is making a big to do about it?! WTF? Granted, we're talking about Sam's gas here, that went from $1.87 last Thursday up to $2.04 by Tuesday. But, regular gas stations have done it too, going from $1.98ish back up to around $2.10. What is going on?! And why aren't people flipping out again. As soon as Congress or whoever isn't on the oil companies backs, they go hike up the prices again. Flippin' A, we live in the most ass backwards country, and it's all George Bush's fault. I was so excited that gas was around $2, I'd have been content for it to stay right at $2 for the next year, as long as it didn't jack up again. Man, can we really survive till 2008? I think someone should just take out Bush & Cheney and every other idiot that'd be in line to get the presidency. Cuz this is nuts. And, no I'm not just ranting because of gas prices.. just Bush's stupidity in general and where he's going to take this country in the next 2 years.. straight down into the ground. harumph. I TOLD YOU SO. I think it's time to put on my "I voted for Gore AND Kerry and I TOLD YOU SO!" sticker. :-P

On a non-politically related note.. I tried Zicam today.. I woke up this am feeling icky and cold-like. And, I've been seeing commercials right and left about this stuff, so I figured I'd give it ago. It's quite odd.. it comes in a nasal spray lookin' container, but it's really not spray, it's more gel-ish like. It's supposed to get rid of colds 3X faster than other cold stuff. So, we'll see. I hate feeling cold-ish. My eyes are burning and I can feel my throat starting to get sore and my ears are kind of hurting/plugged up. GROSS. I thought I had dodged the colds going around the office.. it appears to not be so. =( But I will let you know if this stuff works.
