Movin' on up!
WOO HOOOOOO! Starting May 31, I will be a LEAD THERAPIST with Youth Opportunities! Do you see that??? Therapist is in my job title!!
Youth Opp does residential and day treatment services for teenagers, much like The Children's Home. Several of the TCH kids came from or went to Youth Opp. I'll be in the Day Treatment setting, doing family counseling, group counseling, and other therapeutic type things, like treatment planning, team meetings, etc. ROCK ON! I had an interview on May 5, and they called me Monday to offer me the job! I'm so excited. It's not quite as much of a salary increase as I was hoping for, but it's directly related to what I want to be doing, and the path I want to be on. Ooooh, I'm so excited. (I didn't tell too many people about the interview or post about it cuz I didn't want to jinx it!) When the woman called to offer me the job, she said "We were so impressed with the things your references had to say and how you expressed yourself in the interview, and we're excited to have you join our team!" Rock on references! =)
In TV Land news... Grey's Anatomy season finale ROCKED! It made me cry, and didn't leave me super frustrated at the 'clifhangerness' of it. ;-) Like that word? Most importantly, it wasn't stupid and I felt satisfied after watching it. Finally.
OOOOOHHHHH! Mom got tickets today to see The DaVinci code on Friday afternoon! ooooh, so excited.

Yay about your job! It sounds really rewarding, and I know you're glad to finally have the kind of job you've been waiting to get. I like the fact that it has "lead" in the title as well... you'll be so important. =) Congrats!
