Saddness comes in waves. For some reason today I have been feeling extra sad missing Onex. I finally finished Marley & Me last night, so that might have something to do with it. that alone made me cry my eyes out, and then thinking about Onex & her last few years. At least I slept good last night, after wearing myself out with a good cry. Stuff has been extra tense at work the past few days, and I think that just kinda set me off. I'm not quite stable yet. (As if I ever was.. HAH!)

I'm still waiting, not so patiently, for the evening primroses that I planted (seeds) to come up! I see no signs of them yet, and I think it's been almost 2 weeks. I planted some cosmo & daisy seeds in some planters and they were poking through after a week or so. Hm.. I will be most upset if these ones don't come up.

I'm about to head to the fabric store to see if I can find some fun fabric to make a skirt or 2. I made several a few years ago (jeesh, way back when I lived in Clarksville!) and I want some more!

I finally got an Obama sign for my yard!!! :-D I need to go ahead and order some bumper stickers from his website, cuz the Forsyth County Dem HQ won't have any more stuff til he picks a VP to run. No fun. I wanted to have SOMETHING on my car when I went to babysit last weekend at the SUPER republican family's house, just so the dad would say something to me. He and I had some words & jokes back and forth last election.. I hid some extra Kerry/Edwards stickers in his office & around the house. It was fun, & less illegal than the campaigning we did in HS. ;-)

I spent a fabulous weekend at the pool, in the 100* weather! It was damn hot, and the pool is up to 88* I think. I've been swimming every day after work. Hello summer! It was not quite the same without Colleen & Linus.. but I did get to visit with Tucker! And, Jacki, her 3 kids & new man came over too. I should actually say fiance', as of Monday! =) I get to be in a wedding soon! If any of you wedding on a budget peeps have any suggestions I can pass along to her.. let me know! I told her I had some expert wedding budgeting friends! If only Katherine were not so far away.. she'd have another cake gig! So, that's exciting to look forward to.

And now I must sko.. I gotta get to the store & back to make yummy fruit pizza for a birthday lunch tomorrow. Hope I don't eat too much of it before I get to work!
