A lil extra dough

Yes! Dr. Amanda (my coworker) and I set up a schedule to be on call for the Intensive In Home families (a max of 8, only 5 right now) for the next 2 months, getting paid a hefty $450 a week to be on call. More if we actually have to go somewhere.. but that's very unlikely. We'll keep doing on call for more than 2 months, that's just all we've planned out so far. We've had another coworker doing it since May, and she got the first phone call last night, and just talked on the phone to one of my nasty teenagers for about 15 mins. Rock on. Finally, some extra dollars. I had to to do on-call at Footprints & YO, so it's nothing new, and it was for basically the same clients, but just a LOT more, so it should be all good. Wendy & I do our jobs well, so hopefully nothing'll change & we'll keep on keeping our families on track so they don't have crises in the middle of the night. I'm a little worried about getting stuck with shit, but if it happens, it happens & I make some extra dollars. Altho it's good experience and looks good on resumes.. So, cross your fingers for me! I'll finally be able to pay off some bills & have some fun money. Hm, maybe for a new puppy!? Or another cruise? Or a trip to Baton Rouge? Oh, the possibilities!!
